Established in 1988, The Wharf is known as one of the best restaurants on Seven Mile Beach, in the heart of Grand Cayman’s most popular tourism corridor. Our elegant setting incorporates a waterfront bar, the Ports of Call, overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Guests may dine under the stars and enjoy happy hour seven days a week. A specialty of our restaurant that you will not find anywhere else in the Cayman Islands: You can be an audience to the nightly feeding of 50-pound tarpons as they swim past your tables from 6 p.m. until about 9 p.m. Come and enjoy the show!

In addition to the nightly show and fine dining, you’ll want to pair your meal with the finest wines from our extensive Cayman wine list, featuring nearly 500 wines by the bottle. We are proud to have been honored in 2018 by Wine Spectator magazine, selected as one of 1,215 winners from more than 75 countries for our wine list.

“These wine lists display excellent breadth across multiple wine-growing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation,” Wine Spectator states on its website. “Typically offering 350 or more selections, these restaurants are destinations for serious wine lovers, showing a deep commitment to wine, both in the cellar and through their service team.”

Our fine wines include a lengthy list of reds from France (Domaine De Pallus, Chinon, Touraine, Loire, 2014; Alain Jaume, Domaine Grand Veneur, Les Origines, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 2004; and Domaine du Pegau, Cuvee Laurence, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 1998, just to name a very few), as well as reds from Italy’s Piedmont region, Veneto, Sardegna, Umbria, Campania, Marche and Tuscany regions, among others. And of course, there are reds from Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, South Africa and the United States. We also offer an equally long list of whites, including premier wines from Italy, Austria, Spain, France, New Zealand, Australia, Argentina and the United States.

For a festive occasion, or to make any occasion festive, we feature a host of French Champagnes, including Bollinger, Special Cuvée, Brut, Ay, NV; Drappier, Carte d'Or, Brut, Urville, 1996, NM; Taittinger, Comtes de Champagne, Brut, Reims, 1994, NM; and Dom Pérignon, P2, Epernay, 1998, NM. We also offer Prosecco, Torresella, Veneto, Italy, NV, always a popular choice on island.

As for after-dinner wines in the Cayman Islands, take a look at our collection of dessert wines, including Zind-Humbrecht, Pinot Gris, Rotenberg , SGN, Alsace, 1986 (375ml); Mas de Daumas Gassac, Vin de Laurence, Lan.-Roussillon, France, 2011 (500ml); and Sine Qua Non, Mr. K The Noble Man, Central Coast, California, 2006 (375ml). Our fortified wine list includes Smith Woodhouse, Douro, Portugal, 1994; Taylor's 20 Year, Old Tawny, Douro, Portugal, NV; and Warres, Douro, Portugal, 1966.
