Memorable Family Moments: Kid-friendly Dishes at The Wharf

Mixed Green Salad: 

This versatile and nutritious salad is typically tossed with farm-to-table ingredients like spinach, arugula, lettuce, kale, tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers. To elevate the flavors of this best dinner in Grand Cayman, our chefs top it up with some sliced avocado, nuts, seeds, croutons, and cheese.

A generous drizzle of classic vinaigrettes, ranch, or Caesar is poured all over the salad and can be served alongside a source of protein like grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu. This salad will be a hit with your little one with its simple yet vibrant zest.

For extra zing, this crispy and succulent seafood is served with a creamy and tangy tartar sauce folded with ingredients like mayonnaise, chopped pickles, capers, lemon juice, and various seasonings such as mustard, worcestershire sauce, & herbs.

It is accompanied by a fresh and light salad, a vinaigrette or citrus dressing and veggies like lettuce, spinach, arugula, tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots to leave your children wanting for more.

Pasta with Butter:

Our butter pasta is like a warm hug on a rainy day. We use seashell shapes which are boiled until al dente and then tossed with a block of butter and chopped garlic in a skillet over a slow flame.

Once each pasta shell is drenched in the embrace of melted butter, it is served on a plate with a pinch of sea salt and ground black pepper. Finally, the dish is garnished with parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of parsley, elevating each bite to a symphony of flavors.

Pirate Steak:

Ahoy, matey! Get ready to sail on a tale of the legendary pirate steak! Our chefs wield their culinary prowess to sear 4 oz beef tenderloin over a scorching grill, which is infused to perfection with a blend of garlic powder, paprika powder, and thyme.

After the steak soaks up all the juicy goodness and is tender enough to melt in the mouth, it is paired with a side of everyone’s favorite baked potatoes, seasoned with a subtle sprinkle of salt and pepper, making it the most mouth-watering Grand Cayman food. 

Islands Gold Nuggets:

Crunchy, luscious, and golden — Chicken tenders are a perfect snack to treat your munchkins on their wins or lift their spirits on a tough day. This meal emerges as a ray of sunshine in the gloomiest of moments.

It is cooked using chicken tenders, breaded in a savory mixture of spices, flour, egg wash, and breadcrumbs. The coated nuggets are fried in hot oil, filling the kitchen with the aroma of nostalgia and excitement.

The sticks are then placed on parchment paper and baked in a preheated oven, which makes it an even healthier alternative for kids. This simple snack is plated with french fries and ketchup for a ‘finger-licking good’ taste (Pun intended).
