With renovations completed, Grand Cayman’s premier waterfront restaurant, The Wharf, is the perfect all-day dining experience.
The Wharf is back, with updated facilities that offer all the best things that Grand Cayman’s premier waterfront restaurant is famous for, as well as a host of improvements. More than just a facelift, the recent renovations have created an all-day dining experience that still offers the best food in the Cayman Islands, yet with an ambiance and facilities even more sumptuous and relaxed than before.
New seating arrangements allow guests more choice and flexibility. The iconic Waterfront Deck, with seating for 350, offers guests its famous beach and sunset views accompanied by the susurrations of the waves, the latest breakfast, lunch, and dinner creations are delivered from fully updated kitchens.
Indoors, the fully renovated Ocean Room seats up to 130 guests. Its new air-conditioning system and balanced acoustics offer a peaceful and climate-controlled haven on inclement weather days, while the refurbished bar is the ideal place to enjoy the glorious ocean view in complete comfort; come rain, come shine, come gales, any time of the year, there is no better way to unwind before you dine in the Cayman Islands.
The all-day dining experience starts with breakfast, where service starts at 7am and continues until 3pm. Guests can choose the indoor Ocean Room or the shaded Upper Porch for a leisurely breakfast, a casual lunch, or just a coffee and snacks. The high-speed internet and ocean view are always available.
All the Wharf’s breakfast favorites are available, as well as a host of new items to discover. There’s even a takeaway service for those who need their hit of The Wharf coffee, but don’t have time to sit and relax.
For families, there’s now a kid’s corner indoors for the under-eights, where parents can enjoy their coffee in air-conditioned comfort while the youngsters amuse themselves. There are smoothies, Kids Coffees, Kids Teas, or Kids Chocolate with cookies, a coloring book, and crayons to keep them occupied.
The Wharf’s outdoor, covered dining area, the Upper Porch, is destined to become the Cayman Islands’ most popular new lunch hotspot. The ocean views, under the gentle breeze of fans and the shelter of a customized roof, make this the perfect venue for a delicious outdoor lunch all year round. It’s also the ideal location for hosting a special event, whether it’s a casual cocktail reception or a formal dinner for 60 guests.
Happy Hour starts at 4pm and dinner is served 5pm-10pm every night of the week. This is where locals and visitors alike flock to the famous Waterfront Deck, where fantastic sunsets are accompanied by the best dinner in the Cayman Islands served right on the water’s edge.
Regulars will be happy to learn that the evening entertainment tradition at The Wharf continues, with Harpist Extraordinaire Eugenio Leon at 6pm three nights a week, the hugely popular Salsa Tuesday, and regular events like the monthly Boogie Nights retro disco and live Caribbean-inspired performances by Barefootman.
