Cayman Islands Fine Oceanfront Restaurant Dining

The best dining experience in the CAYMAN ISLANDS

Guestbook

Servus Clemens,

What can I say about the wonderful experience we had at The Wharf? Reno made my daughter’s wedding perfect. Our favorite restaurant was the scene of the most memorable night. Our guests raved that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. WE heartily agree!

Good morning!  I wanted to send a quick note of thanks for all that you did to make my sister and brother-in-law’s day so special!  The cake was lovely!  They were both very excited and we all appreciated the creativity and care that were taken in creating such a special treat!  And as always, the meal was exceptional and the ambience was so special, thanks in part to your exceptional harpist and of course, to the tarpon!
Thanks again!

What can I say? I went to the Cayman Islands on holiday with my girlfriend and her family about 4 years ago. One evening my partner and I decided to have a meal out on our own. We went to the Wharf and still talk/dream about it now. A fantastic evening, fantastic food and fantastic service all by the ocean and
under the stars. I will never forget it.

We had a fabulous dinner to celebrate my nephew’s and his wife’s graduation from St. Matthew’s Medical School. It was an unforgetable night with a delicious dinner and tons of good cheer! Thanks for a memorable evening.

On my first trip to the Cayman Islands I met Clemens and Rino at another fine establishment on the island. They told me they had THE nicest place to dine on the island and that I must come. On my last night in town I did take my friends there and we had fantastic service, Wonderful food and they treated us as if we were old friends. I had the most memorable time while I was there and cant thank you enough. I hope to see you again soon. Thanks for everything!!

P.S. I still cant believe that my friends have never seen The Sound of Music! ha ha Edelweiss!

I wanted to say thank you for all of your help and to let you know that our dinner was excellent. Great table, great atmosphere, great food; my wife was very impressed. Thank you again.

Your restaurant was a favorite of mine with my family, and my fiance recently had the pleasure of dining there for the first time. He was as impressed as I was. Great food, great view, great service. We love the Wharf.

I have eaten here several times on different trips to Caymans. I look foward to dining at the Wharf everytime I arrive in Grand Cayman. You are the reason I became a chef. Thank you for the grand inspiration you gave me.

My husband and I spent our Honeymoon in Cayman, we dined at The Wharf and absolutley loved it. We promised each other that we would come back and celebrate our one year anniversary there. . . and we did (last week). Thank You for your fabulous restaurant, amazing view, attentive wait staff, mouth-watering food, delicous desserts and creative cocktails. We hope to see you every August.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the wonderful job that you and your staff did for our Wedding Reception! The food was terrific and the menus that were made were unexpected and lovely, they will make a great keepsake!!! I also just wanted to let you know that the waiter we had was very polite and he really took care of us. And the cake was also terrific! It looked to good to eat! But we did anyways!! LOL We can not thank you enough for the hospitality from yourself and the staff. I hope we can make it back down to come visit you again. Thank you again,

We want to compliment you and your staff for the spectacular job of the reception, The food was delicious and the presentation was just wonderful.  The stations were so beautifully arranged and labeled, the chefs darling and personable.  We appreciate all of your hard work to help make this a very memorable event in our lives as well as Lindsey’s and Will’s.

God Bless and Best Regards,
Vivien Caven

Reno and all,
Thank you so much for a wonderful welcome dinner and wedding reception over the Memorial Day weekend. I’ve been meaning for months to send you a "thanks" but just haven’t had time. Reno, you are wonderful. You made our wedding fabulous and you were so professional. Everyone raved about the food and felt that they were very well taken care of, which is exactly what we wanted. From the welcome dinner at the restaurant to the reception at DPC poolside, no detail was overlooked. Also please pass along our thanks to the Chef and the staff. I might be biased, but I have never had food that great at a wedding and our guests (all thirty of them) said the same thing! You didn’t cut any corners and we could tell. Your involvement in the catering and even other aspects of our wedding weekend put my mind at ease and I was able to enjoy the wedding so much more. Anyone who comes to GC to get married and doesn’t use the Wharf for catering is a fool! It doesn’t get any better. Thanks so much…I feel like you’re part of the family.

Dear Reno,Clemens and others (Christian still the chef?)

Surfing the internet i discovered your site, and memories came back
I used to work in the ”Wharf” about 12 years ago,as a headwaiter and waiter
    Then Bill was the maitre’d
I hope you remember me,i was with Hena, who used to work in Benjamins Roof
In 2000 i started my own restaurant in Holland (see web site)
since then i did very well ,3 years later i owned 4 restaurants ,all in Holland
I sold 3 of them 3 years ago,all at the same time to a restaurant chain
I kept one, i do not want to be bored!
It is nice to know Reno is still there,Is Horst (little motherfucker) also still there?
Did he finally improve his English? (I did not realize you!)
I am probably in Miami in March 2010,maybe i will book a short trip to Cayman

    Hope to hear from you,

    Yours,
Serge Bosschaart (or Sergio Leone as Reno used to call me)

I have no complaints about your restaurant but was shocked and saddened to see Stingray Leather merchandise in your gift shop. With these creatures being Cayman’s national treasure it horrifies me to think that you should think it is in good taste to offer them as accessories for sale. If people really think they should hang them on their arm then I suggest they buy them back home and not on an island which tries to encourage the public to appreciate these animals as nature intended – in the beautiful waters of the Cayman Islands.
